How To Get There
Drive
You can drive to Santa Maria through the elephant reserve with a 4×4. It takes 3-4 hours from Maputo to Santa Maria / Nhoxani. 4×4 vehicles are mandatory.
By Boat
You can either fly or drive to Maputo and park your car at the Maputo Marina. Travel by boat, which can be arranged at an extra cost. The travel time is approximately 1.5 hours, and you depart at high tide.

Boat Transfers
Travel to Deck House by boat and enjoy a scenic journey across the bay to Santa Maria. Boat transfers can be arranged at an additional cost and are the most popular way to reach the property.
As departure times are determined by the tides, we recommend checking the tide schedule when planning your trip.
